Castles, Coasters & Considerably Less Chaos

Theme park travel designed around you.

Theme parks are wonderful places. They're also crowded, complicated, expensive, and occasionally involve standing in a 90-minute queue next to someone who has decided the entire family needs to hear their opinions.

But here's the thing: a Disney or Universal vacation doesn't have to feel like an endurance event.

With thoughtful planning, a little insider knowledge, and an itinerary that actually fits your family, you can experience the magic without feeling like you need another vacation to recover.

Whether you're dreaming of your first visit to Walt Disney World, returning to Disneyland for a nostalgic escape, exploring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, or setting sail with Disney Cruise Line, I'll help you create a vacation that's as enjoyable as it is memorable.

Because the best vacation isn't the one where you do everything. It's the one where you enjoy what you do.

A Little Magic. A Lot of Planning.

The happiest place on earth shouldn't require a spreadsheet the size of a small novel.

A great theme park vacation starts long before you walk through the gates.

Where should you stay? How many park days do you really need? Are Lightning Lanes worth the extra expense? Should you purchase a dining plan? And exactly how early do you need to wake up to ride that roller coaster everyone keeps talking about?

These are the sorts of questions I help answer.

I've been designing vacations since 2017, helping travelers navigate the constantly changing world of Disney and Universal destinations. From choosing the right resort to understanding park tickets, transportation, dining, and attraction strategies, I take the complicated pieces and turn them into a vacation that makes sense for you.

And unlike a one-size-fits-all touring plan, your vacation will be built around your interests, priorities, budget, and preferred pace.

Because not everyone wants to rope-drop four parks in four days.

Some of us would also like to sit down occasionally.

The Shy Girl Approach to Theme Parks

Because magical memories shouldn't require military precision.

I love Disney. I love the details, the storytelling, the nostalgia, and those little moments that make a vacation feel extraordinary.

What I don't love? The idea that you have to experience every single attraction, restaurant, show, and character encounter to get your money's worth.

My approach to theme park travel is a little different.

  • Less rushing, more enjoying. We'll prioritize the experiences that matter most to you rather than attempting the impossible.

  • The right resort matters. Sometimes a convenient location or peaceful balcony is worth far more than a fancier lobby.

  • Downtime isn't wasted time. Pool afternoons, leisurely meals, and a quiet hour away from the crowds are all perfectly legitimate vacation activities.

  • A little strategy goes a long way. Knowing when to visit, how to use park services, and where to take a break can make an enormous difference.

  • Your vacation, your rules. Thrill rides? Wonderful. Character breakfasts? Absolutely. Spending an afternoon people-watching with a Dole Whip? Also an excellent choice.

Shy Girl Approved: Having a plan flexible enough to abandon when you discover a particularly comfortable bench.

What Does Working With a Travel Advisor Actually Look Like?

Consider me your behind-the-scenes magic maker. Without the wand.

Planning a Disney or Universal vacation involves a surprising number of decisions. My job is to help you make the right ones, without spending months researching everything yourself.

Here's how I can help:

Before You Travel

We'll discuss your travel style, priorities, budget, and must-do experiences. I'll help you compare destinations, resorts, room categories, ticket options, and vacation packages, then guide you through the important planning milestones.

Getting Ready for the Magic

I'll help you understand the tools and systems you'll encounter, including park apps, Lightning Lane options, dining reservation windows, and transportation. You'll receive practical guidance so you're prepared before you arrive.

While You're Away

Questions can come up even on the most carefully planned vacation. You'll have a travel advisor you know and trust to help with booking-related issues and unexpected changes.

My goal isn't to plan every minute of your vacation. It's to give you the information, confidence, and support to enjoy it.

Ready to Find Your Kind of Magic?

The castle is lovely. The crowds are negotiable.

Whether your dream vacation involves fireworks over Cinderella Castle, a butterbeer in Hogsmeade, a nostalgic stroll down Main Street, or watching the ocean drift past your Disney cruise balcony, I'd love to help you plan it.

We'll focus on the experiences that matter to you, skip the things that don't, and create a vacation that feels magical without being overwhelming.

Because the best kind of magic is the kind you actually have time to enjoy.
